The Sidney S. McMath Library, named in honor of the former Arkansas governor, stands on a scenic property complete with a pond, nature trails, and amphitheater in Little Rock. Its distinctive structure features a barrel roof design with exposed curved bar joists, exposed glue-laminated decking, and a radius standing seam roof. A geothermal HVAC system ensures efficient heating and cooling, while large windows and an open interior layout invite natural light.

In a subsequent phase, Flynco constructed an addition with three study rooms, expanded the children’s program area, performed interior updates, and additional parking. Despite ongoing library operations, the work was carried out with minimal disruption.
