The new North Little Rock Justice Center spans 82,000 square feet and serves as a consolidated hub for the city’s police force, district courts, and Information Technology Department. Designed with a sleek brick-and-glass exterior, the building includes a 5,000-square-foot public meeting room that can host up to 100 community members, fostering a spirit of collaboration and community policing. By housing multiple departments under one roof, the center streamlines operations and provides essential amenities for law enforcement, from workout spaces to digital training rooms, all within a single, state-of-the-art facility.
A key highlight of the project is its focus on efficiency and sustainability. Innovative mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems are projected to achieve a 10-year payback, saving the city approximately $150,000 annually in energy costs. Additionally, bipolar ionization systems and improved HVAC filtration promote healthier indoor air quality, while programmable LED lights surrounding the roof offer an eye-catching feature that can be illuminated in various colors. Together, these elements ensure the North Little Rock Justice Center stands as a forward-thinking and community-oriented complex for years to come.
