In 1960, Charles F. Beggs and his son Archie F. Beggs started Beggs Construction Company with their focus on Residential Construction. By the Mid-1960's Archie began to lead the company into the Commercial Segment. Within just a couple of years the entire focus was in Commercial Construction. Charles Beggs retired in 1977.
Beginning in 1981 Archie F. Beggs ask his son David F. Beggs to join him in business, and they changed the name to Flynco, Inc. In 1987, Archie F. Beggs asked Ronald C. Beggs to join the company. When Archie retired in 1999, David took over the roll of President, Ron serves as Vice-President.
Flynco has enjoyed steady growth thru-out the 80's, 90's and into the 21st Century. Our success continues to lead us into a large variety of projects - Office & Retail Complexes, Financial Institutions, Churches, K-12 Schools & Colleges, Municipal Pools & Water Parks, Medical & Laboratory Facilities, Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities, and Community Centers.
Flynco is thoroughly experienced in nearly every type of commercial construction: Cast-in-Place; Precast; Tilt-Up and Post-Tensioned Concrete; Structural Steel; Pre-Engineered Framing; Structural Laminate Framing; and Metal and Wood Framing. Our Municipal Swimming-Pool expertise is in both Cast-in-Place and Shotcrete applications.
Flynco has maintained from the beginning a conservative solid financial approach to business. We are debt free and have been since our beginning in 1981. That is why we enjoy a sterling credit rating and why our bond rates are among the lowest in the industry. Flynco has completed absolutely every project we have ever started on time and in budget.
Flynco continually updates and improves our Safety Plan with the goal of zero accidents. We pay constant attention to Safety Education, Training & Enforcement. This includes Haz-Com Training, Weekly Jobsite Meetings. Our Safety Coordinator performs weekly jobsite inspections. Each Superintendent has a minimum of 10 Hour OSHA Training, CPR, and Standard First Aid Training.
Flynco maintains a zero tolerance drug & alcohol policy. This includes pre-employment, random, and post accident testing.
